Church Charter at Hannover, Germany
Dear Sentinel,—We wish to tell the Field that since June first of this year, we have been chartered by the German government as Erste Kirche Christi des Scientisten in Deutschland.
About the same time we also organized a voluntary association for the advancement of the cause of Christian Science here, and up to date the association has already one hundred regular members, recruiting from all classes of our population.
Furthermore, we have started a fund for a church building, and have received permission from the government to keep open a collection list for said fund.
Words are inadequate to express our feelings of deepest gratitude and humility towards God, who so abundantly has blessed our earnest endeavors to be faithful workers in His vineyard, and to prove that we strive to grow in the understanding of the grand verities of Christian Science as revealed to us in the wonderful text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, our highly beloved and revered Leader and Teacher.
Bertha Gunther-Peterson, C.S., First Reader.
Marie Schoen, C.S., Second Reader.
