A Nigerian airliner crashed into a crowded neighborhood in the city of Lagos on Sunday afternoon, killing all 153 people on board and an unknown number of people on the ground. The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined yet, but the director-general of Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority said the older plane was having engine troubles.

A Danish court this week found four men guilty of plotting a terrorist attack on the Jyllands-Posten newspaper Copenhagen in 2010. The attack was planned as revenge for cartoons the paper published several years earlier illustrating the Prophet Muhammad. The four men, all Muslims living in Sweden, were arrested hours before the foiled attack. They now face up to 16 years in jail.
