Why I don't worry about exams anymore
Originally appeared on spirituality.com
Throughout high school, I worried about grades, standardized tests, college applications, and all the other pressures students feel. However, that all changed a couple of months ago after I experienced a great demonstration of God’s power.
It was the week before final exams, and I was starting to panic. I frantically figured out the bare minimum scores I could get and still maintain acceptable grades. I obsessed over the grades I needed while I tried to study. Studying like this turned out to be an ineffective waste of time, which of course made me even more worried.
Then a thought came to me that I'd periodically prayed with before. It’s something Mary Baker Eddy pointed out in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: “ ‘All things work together for good to them that love God,’ is the dictum of Scripture” (444:4 All).
