A spiritual view restored my eyesight
Originally appeared on spirituality.com
I live in a retirement community, and often hear from my neighbors about the many challenges they have dealing with longevity. My own most recent experience was when one of my daughters were concerned about blindness in my left eye. They recommended that I consult an eye specialist.
To comfort them somewhat, I consented. After many tests, I was told I would need two operations: one to remove a cataract and another to correct a drooping eyelid. I thanked the specialist and told him I would think about it.
