"Today I will write a poem," I said,"A song of the sea and the sky,The tender blue of the distant hills,And white wings soaring high.

God Changeth Not!

God changeth not!Nor can His child,However dark the waves and wild,When on the sea of error tossed.

That Blessed Morn

I Said to her, There is no God!For hope was gone; She told me then that God is Love,Who leads us on, forever on.

God Will Not Let Me Go

God will not let me go,I cried in deepest need His love to see,Through prayer, and that my life like His might be.

The Day's Tasks

In early morn my thoughts ariseTo Thee, most holy One;Oh, keep me through this busy day,And let my tasks be doneAs unto Thee.

Exhortation

Winged are thy thoughts with song,And jubilant with praise;Rise on these pinions strong,Upward where angels throng,High o'er earth's haze.

"Grace for to-day"*

God give me grace to do some act of worthOr kindness, daily, for a fellow man,To demonstrate that I have understoodChrist's plea for universal brotherhood;Else it is proved I follow not the planThe Master taught and lived while here on earth.

Revelation

Blow, winds of God,Blow the dark mists away;Cleansed, let me standTo greet the shining dayWith arms outstretched,My face upturned to thee.
