Symbols

I love the silver mist of dawn,Its banners, rose and gold,The dew-pearled buds and blossoms sweet,That with the light unfold.

Waters of Shiloah

Songs in the Night

Oh , gracious Lord, how sweet the night, how tranquil, still!I feel Thy presence, all-pervasive as the nightItself.

Providence

God's way is plain,And very simple, too;So simple that a little child may knowThe loving thing to do.

Spiritual Sense

That is not sight which looks on man as mortal,But rather blindness, with all error rife;Discernment, God-bestowed, is wise and tender,And so it demonstrates eternal Life.

When I Pray

God be near me when I pray,Keep all ills and doubts away,Fill my thoughts with peace and loveGentle, heavenly, from above;Free from taint of earth and fearBe Thou, God, so very near.
