Morning Prayer

Father , guard my wayward tongue,Help me to speak gently,Keep the portal of my lips,Let me watch intentlyLest a note of fretfulness,Weariness, resentment,Claim to be my voice today,Cloud this home's contentment.

Today

Help me to do Thy will todayIn all I do or think or say,That I may help some weary oneTo know that man is God's own son.

Trust

I have Thy Word—a shelter and a friend; For this, and faith to trust, I thank Thee, Lord.

Enough Today

Why doubt thy Father's love,And for tomorrow pray?

Light in the Prison

Art thou in prison, hopeless, bound,With doubts beset, by suffering tried, While past regrets and future fearsRelentless stand on either side?

"Come and dine"

The Christ is giving now the invitationTo sacramental feast for all prepared,The bread of Truth, Love's wine of inspiration,In silent prayer so lovingly is shared.

The Lesson
