The Revealer

I prayed for peace to stay the claims of war,And in my heart found deep resentment lieAll but forgotten, yet prepared to springAt some chance word! Thus would my eager cryFor peace mock Love's own Golden Rule and law.

In Love's Care

Undaunted by the strife of sin and sorrow,Untroubled by the fear of loss and pain,Today we walk, not waiting for the morrow,In Truth's calm presence, seeking but to gainClear consciousness of God, eternal good,Unfolding quietly from hour to hour,Where evil's nothingness is understoodAnd Love is proved the only Mind and power.
