Dear Father, when I clearly seeThat power alone belongs to Thee.

"Open thou mine eyes"

Love Has clear eyes,Piercing throughMortal disguise,Beholding realityThrough mists of frailty.

Gethsemane

The Master yearned for proven loyaltyAnd asked his dearest friends to watch—to stayTheir consciousness in Truth—that he might prayWith their support, for he could plainly seeThe outline of the cross on Calvary.

Resurrection Morn

No stone is there between thy God and thee;The way before thee lies triumphant, free.

One Hour

"Could ye not watch with me one hour?

Joy

Joy is the prayerOf good expected,The calm assuranceThat GodHas not neglectedTo light with LoveThe pathwayYet unseen.

The Risen Christ

"He is not here, but risen;The stone is rolled away.

Light

It did not matter that for four long daysHad Lazarus lain within the darkened tomb;The Master came, and spoke, and in amazeThey saw him triumph over death and gloom.
