THE CHRISTIAN SLAVE

I am a slave.

REFLEX IMAGE

I would reflect, dear God, the outward formThat inward grace alone makes manliest,That certainty of Science deep and warmWith love expressed.
Within the shelter of this quiet spotWe lose the fears that made our pathway dark;In the sweet silence of this friendly roomWe rest in tranquil confidence and joy.

LIKE CHILDREN IN THE MARKET PLACE

"It sounds like something I could use.

TRUST

I listen for God's voice,Gentle command;I have no other choiceThan Love's demand.

BARTIMAEUS
