Letters & Conversations

We love hearing from readers. Here’s the conversation this week.

I was searching for the truth

I completely surrendered to God and fell to my knees, saying, “God, if You exist, please show me.”
I felt God right there with me, and I knew that the love I’d felt from my Sunday School teacher would always be with me, too.

Your name is written in heaven

With each moment of resisting the temptation to believe in the presence or power of disease or evil of any kind and seeing it melt into nothingness, we are seeing the unchanging continuity of Life, where we abide eternally with God.
A faithful witness is steadfast in their understanding of God’s true nature and deeply aware of the allness and ever-presence of the Almighty’s power, even in the face of difficulties.
Because divine Mind has created each of us, the most formative relationship is between God and us. Our individual nature is the reflection of God’s nature, individual in an infinite number of ways.
It might sound strange that a baseball player with a broken collarbone would turn to two books for help. But he explains why—and how—reading the Bible and Science and Health can bring healing.
I realized I could leave my loved ones in the care of their Father-Mother God, knowing that in reality they are obedient to Him and in harmony with each other. The burden and fatigue I’d been feeling melted away.

Who knows?

I’m no longer defeatedly wondering “Who knows?” because I’m convinced that divine Mind knows each of its ideas intimately and that our concerns will be answered through God’s Christ in ways we can comprehend.
In Christian Science Sunday School, all of my questions were answered, and the answers made sense.
The next morning, I woke up feeling great!

Panicking at exam time?

This student thought she knew the material for her final exam . . . until she read the questions. Her only hope? What she’d learned in Christian Science Sunday School.
