In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Christ Jesus never blamed his patients, but compassionately freed them from their fears and misconceptions.

What is real?

Anyone can make a conscious, moment-by-moment effort to look for what is Godlike, what is real and true, about every person and every thing around us.
The news that a friend back home had died hit this teen hard, and she wondered how she could get over the sadness and heartbreak. Christian Science held the answers.
After my healing, gratitude and love were like a light that surrounded me. Other people seemed to feel it.

Defend your thoughts

I could confidently release a personal sense of responsibility for my health and protection, and trust in God’s continual, invincible defense of my health and well-being.
This proof of the practical healing effect of Christian Science convinced us that Christian Science was the best form of health care we could provide our son.
Even though I was all by myself, I knew that God was right there with me because He is all around and nothing can get in between God and me.
As we open our heart and mind to what God is telling us, we find ourselves overcoming feelings of isolation.

Leaving regret behind

I found that looking back continually to what had been—especially revisiting and holding on to the wrongs—was preventing me from gaining in my understanding and demonstration of spiritual freedom and progress.
When we thoroughly understand that life is completely spiritual, we naturally recognize matter and its associated maladies as unreal.

Feeling jealous?

You can’t genuinely love someone and be jealous at the same time.

The good that is you

As we continue to look to God as the source and substance of our being, we see goodness not as something for us to get but rather ours to reflect, to experience, and to behold in ourselves and others.
