Thomas C. Hollingshead, Committee on Publication for the State of Idaho,
The item that appeared a few days ago in your column which is headed "The Sawdust Trail," with reference to "Divine Healing," does not mention Christian Science; but in order that your readers may not retain a wrong impression from what you said, I am asking the privilege of your columns for the following.
A Student
of Christian Science, musing over the many blessings which had come to him, was struck by the thought that he no longer had any idle or wasted moments.
The
multitude, slow to grasp spiritual truth, failed to understand fully the parable of the good Shepherd; and the tenderly compassionate Christ Jesus endeavored to explain its meaning in further detail.
The
argument has presented itself to not a few Christian Scientists that the marts of commerce and trade, or the activity generally referred to as business, do not offer a satisfactory field of endeavor from the standpoint of practically applying Christian Science.
