On page 469 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," its author, Mary Baker Eddy, observes, "We bury the sense of infinitude, when we admit that, although God is infinite, evil has a place in this infinity, for evil can have no place, where all space is filled with God.

REFLECTION, NOT COMPETITION

Even a momentary glimpse of God as the Father of all, and as the impartial, ever-present, and uninterrupted provider of good for all His creation, lightens daily tasks.

How very inspiring it is for the present-day student of Christian Science to read of the love, devotion, and enthusiasm of the pioneer workers who helped to establish the Cause of Christian Science! They had been awakened by their beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, to a demonstrable knowledge of God.

STILLNESS

Physical repose is recognized as a universal need, but the importance of gaining stillness of thought is not so generally acknowledged.
