Moments that stick

She thought what she wanted more than anything was to be able to dance again. But through her prayers, this college student got more than that—and what she got really stuck with her.
Completely overwhelmed, I remember offering up one brief prayer: “Father, I need help.” I just stood there and waited, ready to humbly follow God’s guidance.
It was a little intimidating, because I haven’t been through an experience like that myself, so at first I wasn’t sure what to say or do. But I also felt like this was the moment God had prepared me for.
