The doctor told us that he couldn’t believe it, but the bone had almost completely healed. 
I was able to reject the sadness as not coming from God, and therefore not an inevitable part of my thinking. When I prayed this way, the mental shade would lift and I would feel a joy pour in like the warmth of the sun.

By not focusing so much on the image we think others have of us and focusing instead on all the ways we’re reflecting God, we can shift from human perfectionism to living Christlike perfection.
We can all be free of the repetitive, worried thoughts that keep us in a loop of discord.
I realized that my physical home wasn’t the only place I could be happy and helpful. No matter where I was, I could find all the qualities of home because they are spiritual and come from God.
God gives us good thoughts that help us when we feel scared. 

God meets our needs 

I see that my search for Truth as a young man led me to discover signs that Life is Spirit, and from there to find Christian Science.
Opportunities came for sharing Christian Science with others, as a church member who is open to interacting with people in the larger community. For instance, a memory care facility asked local churches if anyone would be willing to volunteer to conduct Sunday services for their residents.
