The opening sentence in the first chapter of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy makes this clear "statement: "The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God,—a spiritual understanding of Him, an unselfed love.

ENOCH'S BIOGRAPHY

With thirteen words the Old Testament in its delightful and dignified diction records a perfect conclusion to a biography; "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him".
On page 272 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy states, "The divine Principle of the universe must interpret the universe.
Pondering the thirty-first chapter of Proverbs one day, the writer realized that its description of a virtuous woman was a peculiarly apt one of Mary Baker Eddy: "She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard".
