Spiritual understanding removes an abnormal growth

When I was young I had a growth in my armpit. It was so small that it didn't bother me at all. One day, though, I noticed that it was increasing in size, and it hindered normal arm movement.

As a student of Christian Science, I decided to seek healing through prayer by becoming more aware of the perfection of God, Spirit, and of spiritual man created in His image. Also, I prayed to understand that matter and sickness are illusions.
