Now we are friends!

Some kids at my preschool were pushing me around, and that wasn’t right. But in Christian Science Sunday School, we talk about loving people who might not always be nice to us. We can do this because God is Love, and God made us. So we are all loving and loved.

Sometimes, Grammie and I like to sing, and one day, we sang a song about Psalm 23 from the Bible. One line says, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies” (verse 5).

I told Grammie that I don’t like the word enemies. God made us all to love each other, so there are no enemies.

Later, at school, I was loving to those kids and tried to be their friend because I know they aren’t my enemies.

Now they don’t push me around anymore, and we are friends and play together.
