Begin aright
“Is there a problem?”
“What’s the matter?”
—questions people often pose,
expecting maybe diagnoses,
or a litany of woes.
But Jesus’ thinking wasn’t bound
by matter and its so-called laws.
He looked to Spirit every time
to focus on the real cause.
Since God is All, and God is Spirit,
what and where could matter be?
It’s just a mortal dream that has
no substance, no reality.
Let’s focus prayer as Jesus did:
From God’s perspective, what is real?
Beginning every prayer aright
will pave the way for us to heal.
