The angel on your shoulder
Nestled nicely
and always there—
no cherub, no wings,
but a divine presence.
Powerful.
“God’s thoughts passing to man;
. . . counteracting all evil.”Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 581.
As we recognize this angel,
our sublime oneness with God
becomes apparent, is demonstrated.
Rising to the stature of the message,
“beyond the frail premises of human beliefs,”Ibid., p. 98.
we grasp hold of the real,
the eternal.
Man made in the image of Love, Spirit,
holds the angel in thought.
The trumpet call is heard:
“. . . the divine idea or reflection,
man, remains perfect.”Ibid., p. 470.
This message enables
healing, atonement—
a final and complete realization
of man’s inseparability
from God.
