Weekly updates: April 6, 2026
Since 2002, when The Mary Baker Eddy Library opened its doors as a Boston not-for-profit organization, Church members and others have generously contributed to the Library and its activities. And since 2017, when the Library became a department of The Mother Church, it has no longer been necessary to direct support for the Library through the Mary Baker Eddy Library Fund, because contributions to the General Fund of The Mother Church support all Church activities, including the Library. For this reason, the Mary Baker Eddy Library Fund is being removed from the Church’s online donation form at giving.christianscience.com effective April 30, 2026.
The Mary Baker Eddy Library continues to be a vibrant Church department honoring our Leader’s life, ideas, achievements, and legacy. We welcome your continued support of the Library—and all of the activities of The Mother Church—by contributing to the Church’s General Fund.
