Oh, little one,
you are divinely
fathered, mothered,
held in His hands
and in Her holy care,
fed and nurtured
every moment,
cared for and guided
everywhere.

Citizen of God’s heavenly kingdom,
He is with you every day,
holding on to you
every moment.
Oh, little one,
you cannot stray.
Oh, child of God,
treasured and rejoiced in,
you will grow,
and you’ll be led
in pathways
ever fresh and ever new—
led by Love
and held by Love,
your Father-Mother’s
arms enfolding you.
