Horse’s diagnosis overturned
My daughter is at college, and her horse, Leawood, is boarded near her. One day last winter, I received the following text from her:
“Hey, Dad, could you pray for Leawood? The vet took some blood to test when they did his scope and said he’s anemic and has a low white blood cell count. They said it could just be Lyme disease, or it could be something really nasty that they can’t treat. We won’t know until the vet tests for Lyme.”
I responded, “OK, I will pray for him. Let’s start with how God sees him—as a beautiful, pure, whole, spiritual expression of the Divine without a single error. God is his life.”
