Healing of venereal disease
I want to share this testimony of healing, as it is the main reason I have continued in my study of Christian Science. I was raised in Christian Science and have loved its teachings all my life.
During my first year of college, however, I temporarily got off track in terms of staying true to my beliefs. I became sexually active and soon found myself experiencing physical symptoms that I knew were not normal. I decided to go to the medical center on campus.
After the examination, the nurse announced that I had contracted a sexually transmitted disease (STD). The symptoms could be treated, but the disease itself was considered incurable. I distinctly remember thinking to myself, “Now I’ll have to rely on Christian Science to be healed”—and I did.
