I learned to see Love everywhere
It might sometimes be tempting to believe that we’re in a part of the universe where God doesn’t seem to be—caught in a difficult situation with no help at hand. Jesus once healed a woman who may have felt that way. The Gospel of Luke says she’d had “an issue of blood” for 12 years. She had been to many physicians for help, but her condition had only worsened. Then she reached out to Jesus for help and was healed. Jesus said to her, “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague” (see Mark 5:25–34).
Her healing was instantaneous. She didn’t need to wait a few days to be healed. Because of her faith in Christ, Truth, the bleeding stopped right at that moment.
Some years ago I felt that I was stuck in a difficult situation. I was pregnant with my first child and had just moved with my husband from a temporary home overseas to a permanent one in our home country. It was an exciting but very tiring time. I had taken a temporary job to help with our finances, and there seemed so much to do with moving into a new home and preparing for the baby.
