Being spiritually awake precludes the possibility of drifting, or self-gaslighting.

What more do I need?

Repentance and reform helped me to gain rich insights into my actual selfhood as the likeness of God, and to see—and let go of—what is not part of that selfhood. 
I had refused to give fear a foothold in my thinking, and that helped purify the mental environment.

God, the great caregiver

Being someone’s caregiver, advocate, and spiritually supportive friend can be life-changing. I learned to more and more turn this care over to God’s direction, the highest source of love and care. 
God was taking care of me, no matter what.
The healing of the back pain set my thought free so that I was able to pray for the people in the earthquake zone, knowing that they are beloved children of God, just as I am.

Healing after a fall

I acknowledged that falling heavily on a sidewalk is not a cause, since God is the only cause, and He causes good alone.

Freed from caffeine dependence

The healing released me from the burden of dependence on something other than Spirit, God. The feeling of freedom was exhilarating.

Truth

Whoever lives in obedience to God, demonstrating uprightness and honesty, is qualified to enter God’s presence.
