Just when needed
[Jenny Sawyer, “A renewed life,” Sentinel, January 3, 2022]
This editorial by Jenny Sawyer touched me deeply. I suddenly
got that renewal is now, newness of thought every moment, Christ ever present—and when we strive to keep close to God, to listen for and heed God’s direction at every point, we can feel this regeneration.
Difficult, seemingly. Doable, absolutely. As we embrace the Christ within, knowing that each of us has that eternal connection, we see and feel change within.
We think we know this when we hear or read it, but then someone puts it a certain way, or at the right moment—just when we need it—and the light really turns on.

Encouraging article
[Linda Copeland Daniels, “Divine Love heals COVID symptoms,”
Sentinel, October 25, 2021]
I’m so grateful for this encouraging and inspiring testimony and the healing it describes. For me, this statement by the writer is key: “I knew I did not have the authority or ability to see what God has created in any way other than as God sees it.”
