Treasured article

[Debbie Peck, “Lifted out of disappointment,” Sentinel, June 21, 2021]

I am grateful for this clear-cut, inspiring, and helpful article. Disappointment may seem like a minor problem, but a nagging discontent can block happiness and healing. I treasure this article, which addresses disappointment head-on, calling it a “red light signaling that we are off course.”

Powerful Truths

[Larissa Snorek, “The power of God’s presence,” Sentinel, June 21, 2021]

This editorial was easy to relate to, yet had powerful truths that can be applied to our daily lives. The truth of God’s power and ever-presence, accessible in this moment—that’s real living!

Material for kids and teens

I wanted to let you know how much my family and I appreciate the inclusion of an article for kids or teens in every issue of the Sentinel. It’s so important to provide material for young people highlighting the experiences of their peers who are using the ideas they learn in Sunday School. We especially enjoyed the kids’ video “Be a dragon slayer” (QR code, Sentinel, April 19, 2021).
