Appreciate the mission more
As the number of articles in the Sentinel related to the pandemic grows, I have begun to appreciate even more the Sentinel’s mission to “hold guard over Truth, Life, and Love” (Mary Baker Eddy, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 353). The issues provide just the comfort needed.
Recently, I was especially touched by “A pilot’s prayers during the pandemic” by Brandon Jones in the July 27, 2020, issue. The author’s experience with the man coughing in the next room set an example for me on how to pray for a next-door condo neighbor. Thank you to all who contribute and edit these articles!

Inspiring
Thank you for a truly inspiring article by Jennifer Ann Gordon (“Inspiration during isolation,” Sentinel, July 13, 2020). I especially liked the statement “We must be spiritually audacious in affirming God’s normal.”

Great reminder
[Mark Swinney, “God shepherds us,” Sentinel, June 29, 2020]
I loved this article! What a great reminder to set aside opinions or preconceived notions about what we need to do and just listen for God’s direction.
