Waiting for the dawn
Christian Pascale

© CLAUDIOVENTRELLA/ISTOCK/GETTY IMAGES PLUS. ITALY.
The night is thick on morning air.
Though doubt and fear seem everywhere,
I know the sun is always there.
But in the darkness of this night
I cherish waiting for the sight
Of rising sun and dawn’s new light.
I feel Love’s warmth envelop me;
I leap from bed, both whole and free,
Confirming health will always be.
