Sudden stomach illness healed
Recently I accompanied my son and his young family to the beach. It was a very joyous time spent with them, including our seven-month-old granddaughter. I was very grateful for this lovely family time, which included a picnic lunch.
By midafternoon, however, I had started experiencing stomach cramps and pain, which increased as the afternoon progressed. I tried to pray, and things eased a bit; but then the pain increased, and I started feeling anxious about what might transpire, as it was quite a long trip home.
I messaged a Christian Science practitioner, briefly explained my distress, and asked him to pray for me. He called me back very quickly and said he was praying. He also assured me that wherever I am, there is in reality only spiritual substance, which is God, Spirit, in whom there is no discord. This was very comforting, and I was able to drive home from my children’s house, where we had gone after the beach.
