We would love to hear about the experiences that have made you grow in your understanding and practice of Christian Science—experiences in which the truth became clearer and the pathway ahead felt more certain. Share with other Sentinel readers the inspiration that brought spiritual growth in your life in the column “Turning points in spiritual growth.” See http://jsh.christianscience.com/submit for submission information. Please mention the name of the column in “Author comments” on the submission form.
You’ve done it again! I opened the January 9, 2017, Sentinel to read the Bible Lens along with the week’s Bible Lesson, and I couldn’t put it down until I had read the whole issue! Each week recently I have read articles that specifically address issues I am currently praying about in my own life and in the world. I especially appreciated Kim Korinek’s editorial, “The joy set before us,” which mentioned a man who had left Christian Science, but ultimately came back and became a joyful, effective Christian Science practitioner. God’s love accomplished that, not the human effort of another person to try to change him. So we can safely leave loved ones in God’s embrace and keep in mind how God is seeing them.
Thanks so much for each issue and for the magazine and JSH-Online versions. I treasure all the periodicals and the phenomenal resource that is available to us in JSH-Online.com.
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
