Menstrual discomfort permanently healed
One day when I was in my early twenties and working in a one-girl office, I began to feel very ill when my period began. The physical discomfort was something I experienced frequently at this time of the month. I told my boss I wasn’t feeling well and went to the ladies’ restroom, which was in a very old building without any comfortable place to sit or lie down.
At one point I felt so faint that I was afraid someone would end up finding me passed out on the floor. But I was able to turn to God, as I have always done at challenging times, and listen for divine Love’s comforting ideas. Christ Jesus’ experience in the wilderness (see Luke 4:1–13) comes to mind as I recall this healing, because I then faced three temptations, each one followed by an angel thought, a message from God, in reply:
