Healing of dizziness and hearing difficulty
Some years ago I experienced the symptoms of dizziness and difficulty in hearing. It was difficult to walk straight, and I could hardly hear with my left ear. I tried to gain clarity about my real, perfect being through prayer. When after a couple of days there was no change for the better, I called a Christian Science practitioner for help.
That week’s Christian Science Bible Lesson on the subject of “Mind” contained a lot of helpful citations. It felt as if the Lesson had been composed just for me, especially the citations from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
Two of those citations were: “Adhesion, cohesion, and attraction are properties of Mind. They belong to divine Principle, and support the equipoise of that thought-force, which launched the earth in its orbit and said to the proud wave, ‘Thus far and no farther’ ” (p. 124), and, “The ‘divine ear’ is not an auditory nerve. It is the all-hearing and all-knowing Mind, to whom each need of man is always known and by whom it will be supplied” (p. 7).
