Fatigue and loss of appetite healed
I have been a Christian Scientist my entire life and have had numerous healings over the years—some with the help of a practitioner and others through my own prayer springing from an understanding of God’s ever-presence and love.
One healing occurred shortly after Christmas last year, when I was confronted with a physical problem that I felt unable to pray about for several days. All I wanted to do was sleep, and eating anything other than liquids seemed impossible. I also developed a dry, lingering cough.
After a couple of days of this, I contacted my Christian Science teacher and asked him to pray for me. Naturally he did, and he not only prayed for me, but also led me to spiritual concepts to apply in my own prayers. One of the most helpful ideas he gave me was that it’s essential not only to have faith, but to have an understanding of man’s spirituality and incorporeality.
