[“Out with the old, in with the new!” Juli Vice, May 16, 2016, Sentinel]
Beautifully expressed! “Trials are proofs of God’s care” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 66) is one of Mary Baker Eddy’s key quotes, which I have treasured over the years. The first time I read it in the midst of very stressful circumstances, I threw the copy of Science and Health across the room.
As I progressed in prayer, the situation resolved beautifully—beyond my imagining. As my life has changed through the decades, this saying has supported and blessed me each time, becoming instead an affirmation of opportunity.
