Messages that bring help and healing

Every morning I like to read from Psalms. I start at the beginning of the book, read a little each day, and then when I am at the end, with Psalm 150, I start again from the beginning. The teachings of Christ Jesus and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy bring even greater depth to my understanding of the lessons to be learned from these psalms.

This study is a great joy and gives me much inspiration for the day. I always find an idea that strengthens or comforts me and helps keep my mind on the spiritual fact that harmony, peace, goodness, and perfection are what are truly present. Then I am equipped to deal with any negative suggestions I meet during the day. For example, if I feel sad, or think it will be a hard day because there seems to be so much to do, I am able to more easily stay on top of the mountain to see, feel, and yield to the goodness of God.

About a year ago, one morning when I got out of bed and put my feet on the floor, I found I was extremely dizzy. I had to steady myself on the wall in order to walk forward. I got back into bed and immediately began to pray.
