Profoundly grateful
“Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!” (Psalms 107:15). Over the years, I have been abundantly blessed and inspired by the many testimonies published in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel. It is now only fitting that I share my own gratitude for a lifetime of healing proofs brought about through the study and practice of Christian Science.
At the age of three, I was enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School. The systematic instruction I received in Christian Science, which teaches God’s allness and His love for man, gave me a strong foundation of trust in God’s care and in His power to heal. Throughout my childhood there were many proofs of healing and protection as a result of my growing understanding of God.
Shortly after graduating from college, I began to experience episodes of shortness of breath, often waking up during the night gasping for air. I became very concerned and contacted a Christian Science practitioner to support me in my prayers.
