Overcoming temptation
with Karl “sandy” Sandberg
Sandy addressed questions about overcoming habits such as compulsive shopping, drinking, and viewing pornography, and even the subtler temptation to give in to distractions and neglect spiritual study and growth. Many listeners asked how we can be healed when we are discouraged, and tempted to constantly look to matter for information about our well-being, instead of to God, Spirit.
Sandy pointed out that through reliance on God, and the message of the Christ, we can begin to see that there is hope, and that victory comes not only through our sincere efforts, but through trusting God’s loving promises.
