Arm injury healed
Last summer, I was a bunk parent for two weeks at a summer camp for Christian Scientists. My husband visited me for three days while the campers were gone for a trip. We stayed at a bed and breakfast (B&B) and hiked in the mountains with the wild flowers blooming around us. We had a lot of good food in the town and had a wonderful time.
The last night, it was starting to rain, so we decided to run for it from a restaurant to the B&B. We were at the front porch of the B&B when I started to slip. My husband was able to keep me from falling, but my arm twisted badly.
My husband and I began to pray, quietly affirming my true being as God’s child. My preference was to rely on Christian Science for healing rather than having medical care. I wanted to lift my thought away from matter to Spirit, God. I am so grateful for the blessings that came from making that choice.
