Precious progress
[“Good cannot disappear,” Name withheld, August 19, 2013, Sentinel]
What precious spiritual progress and understanding you have shared with us. It is such a glorious testimony and proof of God’s dear love for each of us, and evidence of the blessings we receive when turning to and relying completely on Him. Thank you so much.

Awesome, thank you. The Christ certainly does the finding, and the healing!

Naturalness of good
[“Good is natural,” Cindy Clague, August 12, 2013, Sentinel]
I love the commitment and persistence you had in demonstrating the naturalness of good in your life. It was made practical for all your family as well as all the readers here!

Gratitude for ‘new look’
I just wanted to give gratitude for the look of the new Sentinels and Journals! I realize that it has been a little while since they were updated, but I have to say that this new look has grown on me. When the new Sentinels first started coming out, I honestly didn’t think much about the look of it. After some prayer, I decided that as the saying goes, “Don’t judge a [magazine] by its cover” since it’s the content that matters. I also want to give thanks for the “From the Editors” column at the end of each Sentinel. They are tucked away, but filled with such inspiring thoughts. I hope everyone reads this column before moving on to the next issue.

Expect results
[“Prayer for our neighborhoods,” Barbara Presler, August 5, 2013, Sentinel]
Thank you for this wonderful demonstration of love for all God’s children. We should expect to see results from our prayers, for ourselves and our neighbors. As Mr. Rogers, a much-loved US children’s TV host, would say, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.”

Christ touch
[“ ‘Subscribing’ to healing,” Sonia Bull, August 5, 2013, Sentinel]
Thanks for sharing this healing, Sonia. It’s so special to see how the Christ touches thought—even if the subject matter seems to be different from the problem we’re facing. And lovely to know how both forms of the periodicals serve their purpose!
