If someone asked you right now, “What is life?” what would you say?
I often hear people saying, “You know, life is good; life is bad.” Well, yes, we experience that sometimes, but we also experience a flat earth, and it never is flat.
So, is life just a mix of good and bad? Or is it something so much more beautiful, so much more wonderful? I’ve found that the conception of life that we carry around with us—our ideal of life—is actually the biggest factor in how our life goes. So I love exploring this big question—“What is life?”—in the Bible. The Bible says, “The gift of God is eternal life” (Romans 6:23). And then it explores this idea of life without beginning and end, especially in the life of Christ Jesus, and how he showed us how to demonstrate and live this Life that is infinite.
