I’ve always loved copying down metaphysical quotes and inspiring ideas on scraps of paper or in little journals. But how does that inspiration help me or anyone else if all I do is shut it up in books or bury it in the recesses of a drawer?
As a lifelong student of Christian Science, I’ve always known that Mary Baker Eddy’s words were meant to be lived and shared. And as I learn more about the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science from biographies and her own writings, I’m gaining a better understanding of her insistence that faith be practical.
The problem I’ve found myself running into lately is that I don’t always feel like I have a good enough grasp of an inspirational idea to turn to it for healing. And if I haven’t mastered a metaphysical concept, how could I possibly share it with someone else?
