A pamphlet that changed my life

I first learned about Christian Science nursing through a pamphlet from a Christian Science nursing organization when I was in the ninth grade. From this pamphlet, I learned that Christian Scientists could obtain help from Christian Science nurses who could assist them with practical physical needs while supporting a spiritually uplifting atmosphere in caring for them. I immediately wanted to know how to do this work and asked God if this was right for me. I cherished the desire and that little pamphlet during high school. 

I took steps to fulfill the requirements of Mother Church membership and to understand as much about Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy as I could. 

This spiritual study helped to alleviate a discordant family relationship. Also, learning became easier and my grades at school improved significantly. I was also better able to understand the articles I read in The Christian Science Journal.
