For a long time I felt I would never understand what was true about God, especially since there were so many obstacles in my life. Several experiences eventually showed me that He loves His children completely, and that through Him we can accomplish any right goal.

When I was young, my parents taught me about God and Jesus. They said that if I could only learn to trust and rely on them, they would teach me well. But I was sometimes skeptical about God’s existence, and during and after college found myself really looking for a spiritual role model whose teachings I could follow.
