I prayed when Rocket was missing
It was Sunday. We had gotten back from church, and we were dog-sitting my uncle’s Great Dane. My uncle was going to pick up Rocket that day. My dad turned on the TV, and we started to watch football. My dad said to go check on Rocket and our dog Viggo, who were outside in our backyard. I went out there, and I noticed the gate was open. Viggo was there, but Rocket wasn’t in the backyard. So I ran inside to tell my mom and dad.
We looked all around inside and outside, but we couldn’t find him. So we took both cars, my mom and I in one, my brother and my dad in the other. We drove all around the neighborhood, and we still couldn’t find Rocket. We asked people if they had seen him. We were all upset that Rocket was missing.
But I asked myself, Is Rocket missing in God’s eyes? He wasn’t really missing because nobody can be separated from God. God always knows where everybody is.
