Hugs from God
Even though I couldn’t see Him, I knew God had to be there. I imagined God hugging me like my mother and telling me not to be afraid because He loved me and cared for me. Suddenly I felt comforted. A warm feeling came over me, and after that I fell asleep.
I was reminded of this experience while enjoying the many kids’ drawings of the Bible story of Ruth in this Kids’ Sentinel. Ruth had left her home and was facing many scary unknowns. Yet she went with confidence because she had learned that God, good, is always with His children.
