Knee pain healed
On Christmas Day 2011, I woke up very early in the morning with terrible pain in my left knee. I could not stand.
I’m advanced in age and single. With the grace of God, I have been blessed with a house maid. She helped me to go to my study room. I started reading the Christian Science Bible Lesson and articles from our other periodicals, which I keep on hand as a Christian Science practitioner. When it was a reasonable time for people to get up, I rang a practitioner friend to support me with prayer.
He pointed out to me that “Mind is the source of all movement . . .” (Science and Health, p. 283). I held to the truth of this statement. When my daughter, who lives in another town 30 kilometers away, came to know about my difficulty, she at once started from her home along with her husband. On the way she purchased a walker so that I could move around more easily. I used the walker for one day. The next day I could move from one room to another without the help of the walker.
