About ten months ago I came to live in Connecticut. Not only was this a completely new experience for me, after many years in Colorado, but I had to change to a new school—a middle school that felt as though it were halfway across the world!

At first I felt really alone and uncomfortable. Maybe even a bit scared. I was very eager to fit in and be someone, but as a result I got myself into a mess. Fortunately for me that didn’t last long, because my mom had enrolled me for the first time in a Christian Science Sunday School and I’d been taught there that answers always lie in prayer.
